What Causes Severe Pain After A Pelvic Exam During Pregnancy?

Hi I had a pelvic exam on wens say night at the hospital because I am 39 weeks pregnant and since then they hurt me bad and It feels like I have a gulf ball inside my vagina and my doctor gave me an exam yesterday but didn t say anything about it could it just be that she hit something and made it swell it only hurts to have sex
