What Causes Severe Nerve Pain In Spite Of Taking Gabapentin For Total Hip Replacement?
dr. as e result of a total hip replacement 7 months ago, i have nerve ending pain. i am taking gabapentin 2 times a day 200 mg. it seems to help ,but in the evening the pain is more intense and i like to know if i could take a baby aspirin. with the pain in my leg i am always worried about blood cloths and i know that aspirin somewhat thins the blood .being by myself ( 80 yrs old ) i do worry about it . appriciate your opinion . thank you kindly. I really appreciate your concern, if the pain is the main concern and you are having good result with the drug that you are having so now no need to take any extra pain medicine but try to bear the pain as hard as you could, try to reduce the dose of potent analgesic hope this information helps.
