What Causes Severe Muscle Spasms In Abdomen, Thighs And Calves?

My wife has severe muscle spasms, abdomen, thighs, calves, back and sides. She has been to neurologists, and has had CT and MRIs with nothing found. Her primary care doctor has ran tests with all levels normal. She has non-insulin diabetes. Could this be thyroid?

Hello,
Thanks for using healthcare magic website. I have studied your case and I think that she can be having deficiency of vitamin B 12 and calcium. Also spasm are common in females with near their menopause and low salt in body, So i would recommend her following.
1.High salt intake, may be in lemon juice or with water.
2.Take Methylcobal and calcium daily.
3.Avoid cool temperature.
I hope these steps will improve spasm in her body. Let me know if there is any other follwup questions.
thanks
