What Causes Severe Muscle Spasms After Taking Remicade Shots?
I am taking Remicade for Crohns disease. Yesterday was my second infusion. I ended up having severe muscle and joint pain. It was so severe it was like having a seizure while awake. The cramping moved up and down my body and then would start again, one muscle group at a time. Should I discontinue my treatment? What other drug might I try?

The muscle spasm may not be related to remicide shots and could be due to some other cause. If symptoms persist, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.
