What Causes Severe Muscle Pain In Back Radiating Towards Shoulder?
My wife has severe muscle pain on the back on each side( more on left) running from shoulder down the side of the back to the hip. She also has shoulder pain. She has been to std gp but no answers. What sort of Doctor / massage / chiropractor should she go to to try and solve the issue

I really appreciate your concern, most of the time such diffuse muscular pain could be due to fibromyalgia and this is kind of functional condition more or less, first of all you need to see the neurophysician and it may need some investigations if nothings specific comes out then it may be functional condition hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
