Hello dear. It might be due to some change in the diet. Loose stools are common in children. Most of the time it will subside on its own without any treatment in a day or two. The main treatment modality is keeping adequate hydration so that the child will not go into dehydration. Give ORS solution and make your children to drink it at frequent intervals. You can also give syrup powergyl 5ml three times a day for 3 days. If it is not coming down even after that they may have o be given IV fluids.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
