What Causes Severe Left Buttocks Pain After A Hamstring Injury?
I fell very hard on my left buttocks while rollerblading. Hypertension of left knee and hamstring tear was diagnosed in ER. RIce and especially rest but after one week I still have swelling, pain(can t sit on left) area is hot to touch, tender and of course purple. I am seeing an ortho dr tomorrow. I am fit for 74 years old. Anything else I should do or be concerned about?

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury.
I suggest using painkillers such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.
I also recommend using ice compresses for local application for fifteen minutes.
The symptoms will go away on its own gradually.
