What Causes Severe Joints Pain, Muscle Weakness And Weight Loss In An Elderly Person?

55 or old male. Woke up one morning 2 months ago with severe joint pain and muscle weakness. Some days are better than others. Hands swell. Can t grip anything. Weight loss. Some memory issues. Seems like rheumatoid arthritis but started suddenly. All bloodwork negative. Considering infectious disease doctor now.
