What Causes Severe Joint Pain In The Left Wrist?

I have severe joint pain always in my left wrist. Other times it moves to another joint and to the surrounding muscles. Also my lips will turn a slight blue in the corners and my hands swell and feel tight. I have never had anything like this . It has come up very suddenly. Never had any pain like this ever. What could be the cause. Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Swollen and tight hands with joint pains need to be evaluated to rule out rhematological conditions. Your doctor will need to examine you and check for local tenderness on the hands and typical swelling that might happen in Rheumatoid arthritis or other rheumatological conditions.
The blue lips need to be checked as well and try to identify the cause.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,

Antoneta Zotaj
