What Causes Severe Itching In The Right Lower Quadrant, Without Any Rash?

For the last few days I have experienced intense itching on my lower right side of abdomen with no rash or surface indication or other evidence. I have recently had serious long term cough lasting several months and also experienced infarction and had Angioplasty at RUH Bath. I started rehabilitation training at local Gym arranged by Hospital and managed quite well.Any ideas?

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that prolonged cough sometimes can cause vague itchiness but no other factors looks like contributing in this.

You can take an anti allergic and consult your physician if it doesn't subside in next 5 days.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
