I have recently been through a check up with my dr and he said my red blood cells are large and to cut down on alcohol. which is ok I have maybe 2 drinks a day but in the past few years I came down with osteoporosis, been on pain pills for 2 years went of the pills 4 months ago now under pain dr care giving me b12 shots. I have been having severe itching for the last 3-4 months and a month ago I came down with blood posining which I believe was from a cat bite..my entire left arm was red and very sore just finished antibotics feel good. my main question is can all of the above issue have caused the large red blood cells
