What Causes Severe Inflammation And Pain In Arm?

hi.. i have this horrible burning pain that feels like its right to the bone on my arm.. I cant sleep. nothing is working. when the rash comes to the surface? IT actually looks kind of like a hickey .. any ideas.. my hubby says it looks like black fly bites YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the severe pain with rash type appearance over the arm region do indicate possible inflammation through bug bite or allergen exposure.

* Following measures will help you

- keep the part clean with antiseptic liquid or soap

- local application of ice 3 times a day after meals

- use steroid cream for local application

- anti histamine in case of itching

- analgesic with anti inflammatory as ibuprofen if no history of drug sensitivity

- control of blood sugar to prevent secondary bacterial infection

- if the hives extent further or pain persists, may need an ER visit for prescription of antibiotics with or without steroid shot.
