What Causes Severe Headaches With Short Term Memory Loss And Sudden Blindness?

I have gotten headaches more than usual for the last couple years. I have started having short term memory issues where I will think of something and 2 seconds later not be able to remember what I just thought. I lose vision in my eyes occasionally at random times. I have 20/20 vision. For the past week I've been hallucinating tastes and scents randomly. No it's not a craving. No I'm not hungry. I've hallucinated items that aren't food and I've been eating and tasted something else that wasn't the food I was eating at the moment. I've hallucinated the taste of foods that I haven't eaten in forever and completely forgot they existed. Some of the tastes are things that I've eaten before but can't remember what it is. What could be wrong with me?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi I did review your concern.
your problems can be due to multiple small strokes in brain known as transient ischemic attacks(TIA).
I would recommend a visit to a neurologist and get your self evaluated for any residual lesion and a CT scan followed by MRI brain to see if there is any organic damage to your brain.
TIA can present with headache episodes, memory loss, sudden loss of vision and if it affects temporal cortex it can cause taste and bizarre hallucinations.

I hope this helps.
Wish you all the best.
Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
