Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My sister wakes up with headaches that prevent her from going to work some days. This happens several times a month. Her headache pain seem to be behind her eyes and in her sinus areas. ( I notice it right away because her eyes seem puffy) She has had several tests run that don t show anything that should cause these. Why when she goes to bed feeling fine does she wake up with painful headaches? What happens in the middle of the night to cause these? This has been going on for a very long time. Can you shed some light for us? Thank you. Diane email address: YYYY@YYYY
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern for your sister such symptoms could be due to chronic sinusitis, some time may be associated with secondary infection, in my opinion this can be best managed with "Tab Azithromycin 500 mg once in day for five days, and "Tab Ibuprofen with Acetaminophen" no need to worry about this, ask her to drink more water, hope this information helps, take care.
