What Causes Severe Headache Followed By Dizziness And Fainting?

I had a severe rush in my head, bad headache, felt like my head was going to explode. following this I had a mild to moderate headache for over 24 hours. 12 hours after initial headache I was queasy, clamy, light headed and passed out. im 40 with no major health issues.

You have several issues which are concerning. I suggest you see a physician and get a general check up with blood pressure check. If your BP is normal you should have laboratories to rule out anemia or thyroid problems. Next, due to passing out you should get a CT scan of the head to rule out mass, or subdural hematoma. Lastly, if all those tests are normal, you should see a neurologist to rule out migraine, transient ischemic attack or seizures.
