What Causes Severe Headache During Sleep In A Child?

Hello. My son just woke up in the middle of the night with a severe headache. Next he asked for medicine for the pain. He complained the pain was severe in his forehead. After drinking tylenol he vomited. He is asleep now. But this is the third time this has happened in the past year. Should I bring him to the Er?

I really appreciate your concern, the headache may have many reasons but most of the time it is due to stress and anxiety, still it needs to be investigated for some systemic disease, and CT of brain is advisable you can see the ER hope this information helps.
