What Causes Severe Hair Loss When Diagnosed With Hypothyroidism?

Hi i have sudden hair loss wherein my hair has become thin from thick and can see patches near the hair line and also receding hair. I have a five month baby, hypothyroid and have been lately irregular with my thyroid medication. Also not been having a healthy diet. Though I have changed all that since past three weeks but hair is still falling

I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

Hair loss and thinning of hair is very common in hypothyroidism. You should get tested for T3, T4 and TSH. Take thyroid supplements accordingly. once your hormones level comes to normal your problem of hair loss is also cured.
