What Causes Severe Foot Pain Especially Below Big Toe?
For about a week my foot has been hurting very badly in the middle of my foot underneathe my big toe. When i move my toe i can feel something rubbing together inside of my foot and when i put my hand on it and move my toe i can feel a vibration from something rubbing together. Whats going on?
It sounds like you may have tendinitis in the tendon going to your big toe. This is an inflammation that can be quite painful and causing swelling. There is a sheath covering the tendon, and when the tendon swells it can get kind of stuck in the sheath, which can cause a feeling of something rubbing together and also cause a vibration. This is because the tendon is indeed rubbing against the sheath and the vibration occurs because of that rubbing. Ice packs and medicine like ibuprofen may help with the inflammation. Hope this answers your question.
