What Causes Severe Fatigue While Suffering From Diabetes?

Thanks. I m diabetic and last week one morning I had fasting blood sugar of 105, ate light b fast, played golf (walked) and felt extremely fatigue. Also from a vision aspect, everything was extremely bright...especially anything white like the golf ball or white cup. Felt like something was wrong after the round went to get my blood pressure checked and it was 104/61....also took my blood sugar and it was 177. The only thing I had to eat all day was b fast as mentioned...also drank a lot of liquids as I was very thirsty. Today, I sort of felt the same thing...blood pressure fasting this morning was 118, ate b fast and lunch (PBR and chips) and felt fatigue in the afternoon. At 7:00 before supper took blood sugar and it was 375...ate supper and 1 hr. after eating it was 185...suggestions as to what is going on...and what to do? Thanks.

Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disorder. Diabetic patients often get too tired or fatigued. Both high as well as low levels of sugar in the body are associated with development of fatigue.
Higher sugar levels slow down blood flow in the body and this sluggish flow of blood can prevent adequate supply of nutrients and oxygen to the cells and tissues. Inflammatory changes can also occur in the blood vessels hampering speed of blood flow due to high sugar levels.
similarly, low sugar levels mainly due to the use of diabetes medications can prevent the blood to supply much needed fuel and nutrients for proper functioning of human body cells.
Furthermore, associated medical problems developed in diabetic patients can aggravate fatigue as well.
