My mom is 92 and had a stroke almost 4 months ago. She has little physical impairment but can t manage activites and plan. I am caring for her for 10 days. She is sleeping about 20 hours a day though sometimes she is just dozing. These first four days she s only getting up to eat once. She takes herself to the toilet. My sister says she was sleeping quite a bit before but not this much, I think. Should I be concerned enough to take her to the doctor? The only physical discomfort she has are some irritated places on her face. She has a primary care dr appt in 10 days. She s responsive if she rouses or I wake her.
