What Causes Severe Fatigue Along With Excessive Sweating?

After a day in the woods my son came home. Totally exhausted, sweating profusely, extremely cold to the touch. The outside temperature was in the low 80s. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure disease. I m afraid he pushed himself to far going on this outing. What do I do to help him.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

I do not think that one episode of outing would have done this to him. It should have been a toxin-induced myocarditis and the most common causes are poisonous insect stings or scorpion sting or a centipede or a spider bite.

I suggest you get back to his treating physician with these suggestions and get your son treated, please.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
