What Causes Severe Diarrhoea During 35 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hi doctor! I m 35 weeks pregnant and I m having diarrhea today. Called my obgyn and she told me to take ercefuryl 200mg twice a day. Tried to search the drug online and the internet says it is not safe for pregnant women. I m confused. Just wanna make sure my baby is safe. Can t call my obgyn s clinic right now because it s already latee at night. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I think you should consult your doctor again before using it. It can cause hypersensitivity reactions. You can take metronidazole tablet for diarrhea. Also take some probiotics like becelac forte. Also take fluids at frequent intervals and keep yourself hydrated.
