What Causes Severe Diarrhea At Night?

I have ahi have been having diarrhea for the past week. In the middle of the night it happens uncontrollably. I have to go to the bathroom without warning . Then it s mucusy. Thinking I had to urinate but nothing. On a couple occasion s it was black but that stopped. It s usually in the middle of the night. I have these accidents. Now weren t pads to prevent a mess everywhere.

Diahhrea is a colon problem iether because if infection or due to other condition of the colon
1 Infection due to bacteria. proposal or virus
For this stool examination for ova, cyst
stool culture for bacterial infection.
occult blood to check if there is any infection
2. CT scan for any swelling, mass in the intestine or abdomen causing this condition
3. colonoscopy and biopsy to check for any problem in the colon and biopsy to do histology and confirm the mucosal lesions.
Treatment
Take alot of fluids to avoid dehydration
Iv fluids can be necessary if it has been for long time to avoid kidney failure
Antibiotics, anti proposals.
antidiarrhoea.
Need to consult gastroenterologist For further manangement.
