What Causes Severe Depression While On Seroquel?

My grandaughter is 12 and is taking seraquel 50. Since she has been taking it, about 4 weeks, she has been having hysterical meltdowns for very little reason. She is diagnosed with adhd, anxiety. She was doing so well on daytrana, but apparently that is unavailable in our area Do you think she should be taking seraquel? It says it s for schizophenia.

Serequel is an new antipsychotic drug that has many properties. In low doses it may help for insomnia, mood stabilization and anxiety.
In higher doses it also has an antipsychotic effect.
Regarding the Daytrana, it is the suitable drug for ADHD and has the best results, and it is unfortunate that its not available.
Maybe an alternative like Atomoxetine can be tried instead that works for ADHD and can help with the anxiety.
