I am 56 years old, male.I am very sensitive and often get depressed and there will be change in mood and attitude. fears to take tasks independently and wants to be among the loved ones. this attitude is since childhood.I am an government employee and got transferred to other state, at the age of 38yrs. Due to this I was worried and started fear of going away from my loved ones. lost appetite and suffered sleepless for months together. No idea of seeing Psychiatrist. After 5 to 6 months one of kin taken to me doctor where doctor has given me mild electric shock and course of medications(3 months). After 6 years i got transferred to my home town. Due to work fear and pressure, in 2009 again I went in to depression and used medicines upto 2011.Again in the year 2013 started using (under doctor advise) DAXID-50mg daily at bed time. Dr. kindly advise me whether it is safe to use prolonged period if it is stopped what are the repercussions.
