What Causes Severe Cramps In The Legs?

I have been having leg cramps every night for the past 2 years. It has escalated to various parts of my body. Lately I have been under stress and lack of sleep and over worked so the pains have increased. I am also a diabetic but its controlled. what could be causing this?

Hello dear.
I can understad your concern.
In diabetics the most common cause of these leg pains is neuropathic pain due to diabetic neuropathy.
Other causes could be over work and muscular pain, also could be due to hypocalcemia.
I would advise you to start tab Methycobal(vitamin B12) once daily for 3 months and Tab Gabapentine or Capsule Dulexitine(Dulan) 60 mg at night before bed time.
If it doesnt control with this and your serum calcium levels are also normal start tab Tonoflex P twice a day for severe pain.
You can have vitamin D3 200,000 IU once in 3 months along with tab Qalsan(calcium carbonate) once daily incase of osteopenia and decreased calcium levels.
Hope it will help.
Wishing you good health :-)
