What Causes Severe Cramps In The Left Leg?

I have fibromyalgia and I m not sure if this is from that or not but I woke up early weds am due to a SEVERE leg cramp in left leg, back of my calf. I ve tried elevating, taking warm bath, and massaging the leg but it appears to be getting worse, could this be a clot?

Probably no,the clot doesn't make this sudden severe pain,,but you should do a Doppler imaging on your just in case,,at the meanwhile take potassium syrup and muscle relaxant...
