What Causes Severe Chest Pain, Anxiety Attacks, Pain In Jaw And Arm?
I am going through a tragic loss that occur in the last three weeks. I found my mom she passed away in her sleep. At the time I was suffering from very severe pain in my chest. It felt like someone had my heart and my heart and was squeezing it to death. I sometimes still have the pain. My emotions are all over the place, I panic/anxiety attacks different times of the day. I can wake with the attacks. When I get the attacks I have pain in my jaw and pain in my arm. I am in a very high stressful job that demands a lot of my time.
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. i am sorry to hear about your loss. based on the information provided by you there can be following possibilities. 1.this can be post traumatic stress disorder or acute stress disorder where extreme traumatic events can lead to such episodes
2. it can also be conversion disorder where there is temporal relation between stressor and development of symptoms.
i would suggest you to visit a psychologist for counselling and some antianxiety medications may be prescribed to you to reduce the stress.
