What Causes Severe Body Chill After Consumption Of Alcohol?

i went out last night with friends, consumed a lot of alcohol, and I m currently experiencing a hangover. I can deal with all of that, but I m freezing cold with multiple blankets and just can t seem to get warm. Are they related? For reference, the thermostat reads 73 degrees in my apartment.

Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum
Consuming alcohol causes vasodilatation which feels like you are hot, but in actual you are losing heat leading to cold. So, this may be causing you feeling cold inspite of using many blankets. HAve warm fluids and food for relief. Check your temperature once. All the best.
