Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe back pain with blood in urine . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like urinary tract infection , trauma , stones in the urinary tract , dehydration, strenuous exercises , diseases of kidney like pyelonephritis , tumors of the urinary tract or using medicines like heparin, aspirin, penicillin . Inherited causes like sickle cell anemia can also produce such symptoms . I would suggest you to consult urologist for proper examination . Doctor may order urine microscopy, ultrasound of kidney or other parts of excretory system CT scan or cystoscopy . Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and apply warm compresses .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Blood in urine accompanied by pain near the tail bone can occur due to trauma and thus injury to the urinary tract.
Pain in urine indicates kidney disease or injury to the urinary tract.
Absence of white blood cells or pus cells rules out infection in the urinary tract.
Pain near the tail bone will not occur in kidney disease so trauma or injury is the only possibility.
I suggest you to get kidney function test to rule out any kidney disease.
In addition, you need to consult an urologist for clinical assessment of the urinary tract to look for any site of injury.
In the meanwhile, you can take painkillers for the pain near the tail bone.
A X-ray / MRI of lower back will be required to rule out any abnormality in lower back.

Thanks and take care
