Hi Emily, Thanks for posting in HCM. Levelen ED is a combined oral contraceptive pill composed of levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol. For Levlen to be effective, it must be taken every day at the same time and doses should never be skipped. Morning after pill contains only levonorgestrel, which is to be used as emergency contraceptive pill. It was not necessary for you to take emergency contraceptive pill when you were already on regular birth control pill. Since you have taken it, symptoms like cramps and back pin you are experiencing could be due to the side effects caused due to drug overdose. You need to take symptomatic treatment for that and it should gradually disappear. Drink good quantity of water to keep yourself well hydrated. Chances of pregnancy is remote in your case. You should get your periods in the form of withdrawal bleeding within 3 weeks from the time you have taken morning after pill.
