Hello dear user of HCM!
Welcome and thank you for sharing your concerns with us!

Concerta (methylphenidate) is a drug that is used to treat ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). So in a kind of way it is a "mind simulator", that helps you to keep focused.

Having this mechanism of action, it can be unfortunately an anxious drug too. This is one of the most common side effect of it except headache, dizziness, sleep disorder etc.

You have to be careful if you have high blood pressure or other cardiac conditions too.
Contact your doctor who has prescribed it to let him now about this side effect so he can find a solution about the doses or medication adjustment.

I hope you will be fine soon
Take care!
DR ERIOL.
