What Causes Severe Acid Reflux And Difficulty In Swallowing?

I have severe acid reflux. I am on Dexilant. I feel as though I have an allergic reaction or something is wrong internally. The back of my neck hurts (like the back of my throat) I have difficulty swallowing at times. I break out in hives occasionally and I have an itching sensation in my throat, mouth, urine and bowels. Wine irritates the issue and I have committed to cutting it out. I m concerned there is an underlying issue that I can t see.

As I understand there are mixed symptom related with gastritis and some allergic condition . Dexilant is a suitable medicine to decrease gastric acid production .But if you are not getting relief after taking medication you should consult a gastroenterologist for complete evaluation . Meanwhile you can continue with dexilant and also you can add some antacids syrup for symptomatic relief .Avoid spicy food and take fibrous dite .
