What Causes Severe Abdominal Cramps With Diarrhea?

Couple of hrs after eating seafood at restaurant, I had terrible stomach cramps. Soon I began diarrhea. It has been almost non stop for 3 hrs. It is slowing, but still coming on. No Nashua or fever. Could it be food poisoning? I was fine before eating.

Hi thanks for asking question.

I can understand your concern.

According to history you definetly having acute gastroenteritis by food poisoning.

Take following measures......

Do you have taken any antibiotic???
If no then take ofloxacin and ornidazole combination drug for 5 days.

Maintain hydration with more water.

Take small meal with frequent interval.

Semisolid diet preferable.

Green leafy salad taken more.

Avoid excess fatty food for few days.

Probiotics tablet also taken.

I hope my suggestion will helpful to you.

Don't worry with above measures you will recover within few days.

If still no improvement we will do stool examination for search for parasitic infection.
