What Causes Sensitivity In The Back And Pelvic Area?

I have had Lyme Disease for over 10 years. It was only detected this year. I remember having a round rash on my thigh many years ago before Lyme was even a consideration. Recently I ve noticed areas around my back and pelvis have been hypersensitive. Almost shingles-like sensitivity without the rash. Internally it feels like the flu is coming on with those types of aches, however I m not sick. I ve had this now for two weeks. Could this be something else?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my clinical experience, the issue of sensitivity can be from viral inflammation of certain nerves, gravels in the urinary system or other issues. I suggest thorough physical examination and evaluation with ultrasound, CT scan or further as per the clinical concern.

I would like to admire your further doubts anytime.

Take care.
