What Causes Sensitive Skin And Lines Under The Eyes?

Hi, i have just started using stieva-A (tretinion 0.5) for my under eye lines. i have noticed its slightly more sensitive and im peeling on my face on the other areas i applied to. I was using it every night. i will now drop back to using it every other night and up my moisturizer. I have heard to persist and the wrinkles will look much worse until the skin thickens. is this true? and is there an average of how long the worsening stage lasts. thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Peeling of the skin is part of the removal of dead skin cells.

The wrinkles may look an altered way for a period of say 7-10 days if beyond this period, consult your cosmetic specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
