What Causes Sensation Of Throat Closing While Drinking Water?
when drink water for long periods of time. like out of a water bottle just having small sips basically constantly. This causes me to feel as though my through it closing. I dont seem to have much if any trouble breathing but if feels as though my through is closing
Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum The throat has a specific capacity to hold water/food before swallowing it and sending it into the oesophagus/stomach. If you are drinking water constantly then the after certain stage the swallowing reflex starts which may be felt like your throat is closing. So, you need not worry for this and can visit a doctor if there is any problem/pain during swallowing. All the best.
