Hello,

I can understand your concern. Getting treatment for once in a while during an anxiety attack may help you for the period limited to the episode while not helping to prevent further such episodes.

If you are in the middle of an attack now, you should go to an emergency room and seek help.

In addition, you should consult a mental health professional and go for a systemic regular therapy with medications for long term to control the attacks and lead a normal life. This will help you in preventing emergency visits to hospital.

I hope this guidance helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
