What Causes Seeing Halos Around Light Post Cataract Surgery?

Hello, I had cataract surgery in early April. The results have been very good except for the halos around lights at night. My surgeon told me that they would disappear within months but it has been almost 6 months and no sign of it yet. Will that happen or am I being impatient. Regards Barbara

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Barbara.

They can take a few months upto a year even from various experiences of individuals undergone the procedure. I would not worry too much about them, but if they do not dissappear by the end of the year, then report to your doctor for further management.

Best wishes.
