What Causes Scaly And Itchy Testicles?

The skin on my balls are really scaly its gone down a little i dont know what it is and it doesnt itch its not jock itch...i frequently masturbate..yes..but i ran out of body wash for a while and substituted it with shampoo because those two were the most frequent answers to come up on the internet

Hence it is important to consult a Doctor and preferably a Dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and a plan for a treatment.
The cause of the scaly skin on the scrotum can be:
Dryness caused by atmospheric changes.
Retention of the shampoo as you have rightly read.
Dermatitis due to various reasons.
Have to rule out psoriasis.
The Dermatologist on examination can give you the best possible diagnosis and treatment.
