What Causes Salty Lips And Mouth And Racing Heart?

I have been having headaches every day for so long , I don't even remember now how long it has been , and now all of a sudden I have started tasting salt on my lips and in my mouth and my heart feels like it is running away with me at times , can you answer this one ? age 51. 155 . 5'5

These symptoms are suggestive of underlying conduction disturbances in the heart.these are termed as arrythmias.24hr holter ecg can help to diagnose accurately these disturbances.Anti arrythmic drugs like amiodarone will help.altered taste can be due to drug related side effects.Electrophysiological studies help to identify the discharging focus,;Radiofrequency ablation can help to cure the abberant tracts.I advice 2Dscreeing echo.Consult your cardiologist for further help.
