What Causes Ruptured Vein In Head After Getting Severe Headache?
My aunt has a severe headache, she was vomitting blood and she blackout afterwards. We took her to the hospital and after running some test they sent her home. They said a vein ruptured in her head and advised her to go home and rest. That doesn t sound right to me.

It is difficult to say exactly what is the cause .According to the history the first important point is the cause of the blood vomiting and after the vein.As you explain it might have been from the head pressure from the vomiting.However she should consult her doctor for the correct diagnosis.
