What Causes Rosacea Like Rashes On The Face Despite Taking Doxycycline?

I have had a outbreak on my face of what seems to be rosacea or psoriasis and have been prescribed a antibiotic doxycycline hyclate , a cream solantara.I am puzzled because it hasn t got any better and it looks horrendous. Can you give me a clue as to what is going on?

Rosacea takes time to settle... the doxycycline MB is for prophylaxis... not the treatment for rosacea.
