Eight days ago I listened to head phones while mowing the lawn. I turned the music on very loud to hear it over the mower. I listened for maybe an hour or two before I discarded the headphones. (In retrospect, I realize I should have used earplugs to eliminate noise, not make it worse.)Since then, ever night I have a beeping in my right ear. Today it went on for the first few hours of the day. I cannot go to sleep without turning on some crickets to drown it out. Over the past 10 years, I ve been sleeping with earplugs (barking neighborhood dogs), but since the noise is in my head, i cannot use the earplugs because then i can t hear the crickets. So even once I get to sleep, everything little noise is waking me up. Will this go away (please say yes)?
