What Causes Right Sided Abdominal Pain And Dark Stool Post Laparoscopic Appendectomy?

In December I had your common surgery Laparoscopic Appendectomy done. Recently I ve been having lower right stomach pain (at times left), and out of the blue bloating/excessive gas. My bowel movements have already been iffy since the Surgery, but for the past four days they ve been extremely dark (black). I m not on any Medication, and I eat a pretty clean diet/exercise regularly. What is going on ?

I really appreciate your concern, the color of stool may not be due to the surgery done but it seems to be due to the diet taken and if the doubt of presence of blood ever need to rule out then stool need to be sent for testing, apart from this condition can be taken as infection of intestine and for that Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for five days can be tried hope this information helps.
