What Causes Redness On The Skin After Waxing?

Hello After waxing i didnt feel anything that day and had a shower. The next day some patchy areas turned red on my belly(which i waxed). I thought it was a burn and i used silverdin. It turned brown. Then i used madecassol it turned red again . The dr has given me antihistamine and kortizon and it is still slightly brown but not as much. Is it healing ?

Hello,

Yes, it is healing now. You have been taking antihistaminics which combat itching. Kortizon is steroid cortisone used in the treatment of allergic skin reactions and relieves symptoms of itching, redness, and swelling. You would be fine very soon.
