General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms happen because, over time, the tiny capillaries in the face weaken and leak blood into the skin. The most common triggers of facial flushing include caffeine, alcohol and spicy food. These substances dilate the blood vessels and can cause facial redness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
