What Causes Redness In The Eyes And Severe Fatigue?

Hey..probably nothing but I thought I would ask. so I work about 10 hours a day 5 days a week and workout out about 1 to 2 hours weekdays and much more on weekends. I have been doing this for years, only lately have I been doing more heavy weights, running is the other event, sometimes biking and swimming. I m 57 and always been in good health and shape...lately I m feeling very tired and my eyes are a little red, I feel like I have no energy, I still go for a run and workout, but this is my first time feeling like this, I do feel like I need to drink water all the time, I just think its because of workouts, no medications and no proplems

Hello
It is true that fatigue may be because of overexercising combined with dehydration.
You need to take following measures
-Have water or fluid with electrolytes before, during and after exercise.Maintain adequate intake of water minimum 8-10 glasses of water for the rest of the day.
-Take gaps between two sets of exercises while workout.Have atleast 2 rest days in a week fir helping muscles recover.Exercise in cooler environment or in early morning.
-You also need to pay attention to your diet.Diet must include dairy, green leafy vegetables, fruits ,nuts and whole grain cereals.Multivitamin and calcium supplementation may be started. Many a times there deficiency is manifeseted as fatigue.
-Minimum 8 hours sound sleep is necessary.
-Temporary tiredness may also be due to viral flu.In this case, you may have rest for 2-3 days.
-If the symptoms persists for long, certain blood tests may be necessary to rule out endocrinological problems like diabetes, thyroid, anaemia.
Hope this information helps.
Thanks.
