What Causes Redness And Pain In The Hands After Taking Doxycycline?

I was given the Med doxyclinehyc. I went out side and in the sun and within 10 mins my hands were red and painfully red. Then when I came in and put my hands under room temp water. Then a tingling feeling like I put my hand in ice to long. Should I stop this medication. I was given this Med for bilateral mastoid effusion.

Unusual allergic reactions have been reported to occur following use of Doxycycline medications. Redness and pain in hands clearly depict occurrence of such an episode.
You need to consult your medical specialist immediately for revising your prescription according to the requirement.
