What Causes Redness And Itching On The Penis When Diagnosed With Balanoposthitis?
i was diagnosed with balanoposthitis last week.i went to dermatologist who gave me anti fungal creams but after one week of treatment i was worse and went to a new dermatologist who prescribed me an aloe cream and 0,9%natural solution to bath my penis on it. i do it otwo days now but i do not see any difference.what can i do?to continue with the last treatment and wait?the skin under the penis is red and itchy. thank you in advance

The condition is called Balanitis. Balanoposthitis if the prepucial skin is also similarly affected.
I would advise you the following in such a condition:
Clean the area with plain water 2 to 4 times a day and and keep it dry with a pure cotton cloth or a dryer.
You may apply liquid Povidone Iodine locally or a Metronidazole cream.
A course of antibiotic and metronidazole orally for 5 to 7 days and a single dose of oral anti-fungal tablet should help you to get a cure if local hygiene fails to cure the problem; you need a valid prescription for this.
Please get your Blood Sugar checked regularly. If diabetic then get the sugar well controlled.
Circumcision is rarely required if the prepuce is long, covers glans and the condition is recurrent or if you have diabetes.
If you are sexually active , your partner too needs to take the same treatment.
